"Dangerous Bonds" points the show in the right direction. A strong follow-up to last week's also surprisingly good episode, "Bonds"... shows each member of the Lyon family following separate paths.

"Dangerous Bonds" is an incredibly dense, chaotic episode, and it's fun to watch even as it makes sloppy, unfortunate choices.

Has this show stumbled at all yet? Empire Season 1 Episode 5 was another solid installment full of catchy music, further character development and another celebrity cameo, this one of the Anthony Hamilton variety.
