Description
The fifth season dates back to a new series of powerful and diverse events, as Goodman buys the Dan Hagen, an archaeologist and oceanographer for a diving party, aboard his yacht, while all four members of his group are underwater and in the eyes of each other. Goodman is surprised by the appearance of a toy soldier next to the body and learns not only that Dan's ex-husband and current party wife in the party are apparently friends, but a colleague Dan Sam Blake has argued with him about a career issue.

Yes, the plots are made of the thinnest gauze and the characters cut from the thickest cardboard. But there you have it, Death in Paradise is what it is: sunny, silly and a huge hit.
