Description
In that drama series, everything seems to be different as we see a variety of events. The dramatic series begins, where That story began with Marnie, who was plagued with sexual thoughts as long as she always remembered those same thoughts. On the other hand, she seems to decide to jump on a bus to London where she falls into the lives of other eccentric people and another person named Joe with a charismatic personality.

Pure deals in extremes, but it is for anyone who at one time or another hasn't felt in control of their brain, and has experienced the awful fear, demoralisation, despair and loneliness that comes with it.

Yet [Pure] is clever, witty and, oddly given the content, sometimes rather innocent and charming.

There are small tragedies and farcical scenarios aplenty, but they all add up to a funny, frank and non-exploitative portrayal of an inner world that's permanently on high alert.
February 04, 2019
Pure confronts mental health issues and sexual taboos bravely and its cast is excellent.

The OCD takes something of a backseat in what starts, at least, as more conventional messed-up-girl-moves-to-the-big-city-to-find-herself drama, but if you liked all the other stuff like this, you'll like this too.

It wants to tackle a thorny hard-to-tackle issue. But Pure is a drama without thorns. It's too pure for its own good.

There is something missing: there are no standout laughs or particularly moving moments of emotion, so this first episode doesn't quite captivate.

Part of a growing canon of struggling-urban-millennial comedies, Pure is a warm-hearted but unsentimental portrait of a 24 year old trying to overcome her fears of what kind of person she might be.
