Description
It seems that things are turning back to reflect more of the strong drama we are experiencing through a man named Becker Del. Baker is a captain of a fishing boat where he leads tours to a quiet tropical pocket called Plymouth Island. The trip may have more events and surprises as his quiet life crumbles as he tracks his ex-wife, Karen, for help. It seems that Karen is in a serious predicament where Del begs to save her and her young son from her violent new husband who may change everything in her life.

Serenity is a weirdly intimate film that builds a world so peculiar and enigmatic, it keeps you constantly guessing. Knight's experiment is a great success with one of the most chilling twists, ever.

The film's maritime setting has a certain aptness because Serenity has all the hallmarks of a fish tale. Unfortunately, Knight lets this one get away.

If you like seeing authentically unusual movies, then ignore the haters: In its fusion of disparate genres, its sentimentality, and its weirdness, Serenity is actually worth watching.
