Obey (2018)
Description
In the restive east of London, there is a different drama about the life of a young man torn apart. The young man's shattered life began during the period of social unrest in the East London real estate, where a young man loved a girl elsewhere. Perhaps the difference of place will be difficult and puzzling under strange circumstances.

While sometimes slow, Obey provokes thought and stays compelling thanks to Marcus Rutherford's quiet magnetism.May 22, 2018
Obey is a compelling watch anchored by visceral, emotional performances by Rutherford and Miller, and a well-crafted script by Jones.October 31, 2018
It's an ambitious first film, with a lot to admire, but there is also the nagging feeling that despite wanting to present another perspective, Obey is sometimes guilty of trotting out clichés... That aside, it's a valiant debut.
