Description
This story tells about more powerful events. The story began through Beatrice and Donatella are two patients of a mental institution as Beatrice believes she is the Countess of billionaires and mistress of world leaders. They may decide to implement a new escape plan, where they will soon become their best friends and begin to escape treatment and return to normalcy. It seems to be the most dangerous journey in a binary life where they have a strong experience.

Restless, at times even chaotic, the film often seems to be replicating the experience of having a manic episode.

A buddy movie and a false ode to freedom without much sense that ends up being lost just like the performance of Bruni Tedeschi. [Full review in Spanish]

A terrific comedy-drama about two women in a mental institution that avoids the pitfalls such a scenario could encounter and boasts delicious dialogue with a rare sense of balance.

[Writer-director Paolo Virzi] expertly balances tension, hilarity and an emotionally affecting finale that, as with so much in this film, defies expectations.

Virzì's film ultimately adds up to little more than the tale of two mentally unstable people finally coming to accept their insanity - an awfully thin arc on which to build an overextended road-trip movie.

A poignant film with deep characters, a good story and direction, and landscapes that are visually the ideal setting for the film. [Full review in Spanish]

A pleasingly warm, human and female take on the subject, shot through with Virzi's customary attention to not only the characters but also the wider socio-political background.
