Kindergarten Cop
Description
It seems not to have been quite easy, as the most dangerous task is planned. That task began when a plan was drawn up to appoint a secret police officer to carry out a mission. This task seems to be the hardest because it aims to educate a class of six-year-olds who are too active to find a drug dealer. Is it possible for the policeman to succeed in implementing his plan?

Kindergarten Cop is made up out of parts that shouldn't fit, but somehow they do, making a slick entertainment out of the improbable, the impossible, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

[Schwarzenneger's] transformation in to kids film star is nearly seamless, as he's able to connect with his primarily younger cast surprisingly well, and garners a strong chemistry with just about everyone in the film.

Ahnold's best foray into comedy territory ... for whatever that's worth.

Actually fairly entertaining, buoyed by Schwarzenegger's self-deprecating charm and easy chemistry with his capable costar, Pamela Reed, and the hammiest bunch of tykes ever assembled for a movie.

hough Schwarzenegger remains to acting what ham hocks are to a cheese course, he manages against all odds to be appealing as the Austrian au pair. Think of it as To Conan With Love.

If Reitman's film gets closer than most to covering the bases, there remain huge gaps in plausibility and a romantic subplot any ten-year-old could tell you is just plain icky.

With a heart of purest mush, Kindergarten Cop still manages to be generally entertaining.

In Kindergarten Cop, he plays off the Schwarzenegger image more gleefully and successfully than ever before.

Surrounding Arnold with the giddy kiddies is a shameless, gimmicky stunt. But what the heck...Reitman's actioner still works as a zesty vehicle for The Muscled One.

[Director Reitman's] got a way with kids, and found a remarkable ensemble of 30 antic urchins to work with, cashing in on kindergarten's comic terrain and the blurted brutal honesty of the kids.
September 26, 2007
A mish-mash of violence, psycho-drama and lukewarm kiddie comedy.
