Hunter Killer
Description
Following the kidnapping of the Russian president and a secret coup in Russia, US submarine commander Joe Glass was informed of this while hunting for an American victim in the North Pole. When Joe discovered that there was a conspiracy threatening to dismantle the world order, he assembled a large group of naval forces to search for and retrieve the kidnapped president. The infiltration of enemy waters may be the closest way to bring back the kidnapped Russian president and end the disaster.

It's nice to spend a couple of hours in a fictional world where we don't have to worry about the American president doing something ruinously idiotic and evil. It plays like a nostalgic fairy tale.
