In Batman: Gotham By Gaslight, the world is well-constructed and there are some standout performances, but the story at its core isn't as strong as it ought to be.

It's a rich concept, one that doesn't completely deliver due to regressive representation and predictable plot beats. But fans of the Elseworlds source material, steampunk, or Batman will find enough to like here.
