Flamboyant former world featherweight & lightweight champ, known for entertaining fans with his dancing, acrobatics, bizarre hairstyles, costumes, and stunts, such as wearing his bride's wedding gown into the ring. Sometimes called "The Clown Prince of Boxing." His nickname "Maromero" (tightrope walker) derives from his growing up in a traveling circus in Mexico. His record is 79-14, retiring in 2003.
